The ceiling medallion was an easy DIY install. I did it myself with some adhesive, a few nails, and paint in under one hour. The product is lightweight, easy to work with and most importantly, it looks amazing!
It took a dull plain ceiling and gave it some much needed interest. Everyone that sees it loves it.
I looked everywhere to find nickel-gap T&G ceiling planks and luckily I found Tilton Coffered Ceilings. The planks were in perfect condition when they arrived and straight as an arrow. They were very easy to install.
I highly recommend purchasing from Jason, he's going to be there for you all the way through the process. If your looking for a cheap ceiling that won't last for many years Tilton would not be the place to go. But if your looking for a high quality ceiling that will last and look beautiful for many years there is no other place to go

My contractor’s crew installed the faux wood beams today with nary a problem! They came after I left, and were done when I returned from an appt and school.
I wanted to thank you for always being available to answer my questions and concerns, walking me thru the ordering process so I got the proper materials, listening, understanding and supporting me thru the shipping and every kindness & courtesy you showered upon me. An internet purchase is a gamble, one never knows if the product is “as advertised” & reliable. With you the gamble not only paid off, it truly wasn’t much of a gamble.
It’s a great solution and it’s worked well for us. I’m glad my contractor was able to see this come together; he is now in the position to find other applications for your product. I kept a partial beam length in case of a future emergency, and gave him the sample kit which has all the colors and textures. He can show it to others and will have personal knowledge for future uses. It’s a Win Win Win!

During the process of planning an expansion to my Family Room I searched the internet for ideas to enhance the large 25'L x 22'W x 8'H ceiling and to eliminate the eventual seams and unevenness that often occur with a drywall ceiling of this size. My initial thoughts were to use a wood molding or trim, but when I saw images of the Shallow Beam Coffered Ceiling Kits offered by Tilton it became an appealing option for me.
I contacted Tilton via email with my room dimensions and a Quote Request and received a response the very next day. Detailed dimensions were provided with my quote that allowed me to layout the exact size I wanted for the room as while working around the recessed can lights A/C vents. I opted to have the Tilton team fabricate custom mitered corners for my specific design so that when my order arrived everything was ready to install.
Jason was very helpful throughout the entire process and delivery was on schedule. The Shallow Beam Ceiling Treatment is a unique feature in my home and the experience of attaining it was very favorable.

I hope you are doing well. I’m finally getting around to sending you some pictures of the coffered ceiling, before and after the installation. I decided to install it myself with a friend. It took us just two days and another 90 minutes for the perimeter molding.
I am very pleased with the results and it is the highlight of the room; everyone who enters comments on how beautiful it is!
As a reminder, this was a major renovation of the main level of my house. It involved removing six walls and a fireplace. Two rooms now make up the area with the new coffered ceiling. We are now enjoying decorating and living in house.

We completely transformed a room over our garage into a cool office. On a scale of 1-10 the beams are an 11.

In designing the interior of Sam's Tavern -- a new sports bar in the historic San Francisco Mining Exchange building -- our goal was to create a classic atmosphere that enhanced the long, narrow space. We considered a variety of ceiling tiles and coffers, and after evaluating the costs, installation requirements, and design constraints, we choose to work with Tilton Coffered Ceilings.
Jason was able to develop a coffer plan that worked around the ceiling's stair rake, and provided detailed plans to ensure the coffers met our design intent. Through Tilton, we also purchased coordinating moulding for the soffit and back bar.
